Daimler was the first automotive company in China to provide customer and dealer financing for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Daimler Financial Services, the finance unit of Daimler AG, started its business operations in China with the official opening of the new company Mercedes-Benz  Auto Finance Ltd. in November, 2005. Mercedes-Benz  Auto Finance Ltd, headquartered in Beijing with approximately 100 employees, working closely with dealers to provide "One-Stop-Solutions" to their customers. In the initial phase the company is offering retail financing, wholesale financing and insurance in 15 cities. It continues to expand its operations to include other cities and eventually serve all of China.
