Navigation
The DaimlerChrysler website pages consist of three main frames: the Side Navigation Bar, the Top Assistance Bar, and the Main Content Frame.
The Side Navigation Bar will provide you with access to the main sections of the site. In some instances, the selections within this bar may change; however, you will always have the ability to return to the Home Page by selecting the Home Page category from the menu.
The Top Assistance Bar provides you with help in finding your way throughout the site. Generally, the assistance bar will provide you with a map of the site’s architecture, in addition to helping you search through the sites by entering key words or phrases.
The Main Content Frame focuses on displaying the information on a specific item that you selected. Additional links to other content may display from the Main Content Area.
Video and Audio Information
Certain content areas of the site may include links to view or hear video or audio files. The video files are in RealVideo or Windows Media format. They may be viewed using RealPlayer or the Microsoft Windows Media Player.
The Audio files are in RealAudio or Windows Media format. A RealAudio player plugin or other multimedia applications such as Microsoft Windows Media Player may also be used to hear the audio files.
PDF Files
Some documents within this site are available in "pdf" format, because this format retains the same look as the typeset document. The Acrobat Reader by Adobe Systems is freely distributed and is available from Adobe.
To obtain a copy of Acrobat Reader, access the Adobe website and download your free copy.
Printing
You may find that you may want to print pages from the site for future references. Selecting the PRINT button from your browser or the „Print Page“ button in the Main Content Area and directing your output to a printer would allow you to do this. The special „Print Page“ function provides you an optimized version of the Content Area without head and navigation bar. This decreases the time of printing and reduces the consumption of your ink or toner.
