Based in Beijing, Daimler Northeast Asia Ltd is responsible for the operations of Mercedes-Benz Cars,  Daimler Trucks and Mercedes-Benz  Financial Services in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Republic of Korea. It imports vehicles in the region under the Mercedes-Benz, Maybach and smart brands, and builds Mercedes-Benz sedans and vans in China. DNEA has a joint venture called Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Ltd (BBDC) which produces Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class. It also has a joint venture in Fuzhou  called Fujian Daimler Automotive Ltd (FJDA), which will produce Mercedes-Benz Vito/Viano and Sprinter transporters.
